Order Your Cap and Rotor from Pelican - NOW
Iv'e said this before and I'll say it again. I used to keep caps and rotors for 50,000 miles plus. I'd scrape them occasionally.
I drive the piss out of this 911, and I find that the smooth, F1 rocketship sound and performance deteriorates starting at no more than 10,000 to 12,000 miles. I love that sound and performance, so I change the cap and rotor at that time and, as they say in France.......Voila! Your mileage is not going to vary on this one. Since my distributor is basically new (and SC distributor shaft bushings usually do not wear much anyway), it's not the fault of the distributor.
