Anyone going to the Hershey, PA. swapmeet in April?

http://www.centralpaporsche.org/swap/index.html

Anyone going to the Hershey, PA. swapmeet in April? This will be my first and I'm considering driving my 911 if the weather permits. I would prefer to caravan with others. Anyone interested? I'm traveling from Detroit and would like to avoid the Interstate and take "country roads", if possible, kind of a "scenic route" thing would be preferred... Thanks!!

Yes, I'm going. Last year, a number of Pelicans met up the night before for some socializing. Great fun.

Jim are you driving one of the P-cars? I am "planning" to go, but will probably take the big rig, just in case I find some stuff I can't breath without.

Chris, I'll take the E if the weather is nice, otherwise it'll have to be the 993 luxury ride.

I'm hoping I can find others driving from the Detroit/Chicago area that I can "caravan" with. If the weather permits, I'll drive the 911, if not, I'll drive my Taurus "beater". It would be more fun (and safer) to drive with a group of like-minded Porsche folks, I believe...

Same weekend as Rennsport 2. Forget old parts, head to Florida!

Best,

Wow....thinking of spring already.

For those of you quoted as saying "if weather permits, I'll take the P-car", don't count on it.
Maybe if we all plan on a cold rainy day, we'll have nice weather.

I'll be heading up from the Pittsburgh area (with Pelican T-Shirt in hand).

I'll definitely be there. The week prior is the absolute drop-deadline for the engine swap into the new 930; if it's clear, she's coming too. It'll probably snow.

Big mistake to bring the p-car. I drove mine last year and regretted it in the first 15min. You need space to bring stuff home. I passed on lots of good deals as I had no way to get the goods home.
But on the other hand... the drive there and back....

Never! Looks like I will have to skip this years Rennsport Reunion. I never miss Hershey, rain or shine I'm there! I was sick last year and I still drove up to hunt for parts. I'll be there the night before.

I'll be there at the Bear's Den on Friday. Hope it's a little drier this year.

God, the weather sucked so bad last year. It poured every second of that day and I stepped into a huge puddle as soon as I got out of my car. I hated it and probably won't go if the weather is that bad again this year. As for transporting stuff home, there are always a few folks from this area who head up in a truck or van and take stuff home for others.

I'm going, I'll more than likely drive one of the p-cars. I'm in NW Ohio and would love to caravan with other pelicans. Please let me know if any of you want to meet up Thanks TAB

How about trying to get a all Pelican parking area? Any thoughts?

Anyone know the PCA members from that region?
