Lets talk spring plates

Whats the scoop with the adjustable spring plates?

Apparently the Sway-aways are not compatible with Chuck's Elephant Racing spring plate bushings--if someone knows differently please let me know.

Which Spring plates would you recommend and which bushings?

I'd like to go with polybronze but don't know if I can get the adjustability with them.

This is for an agressive street and DE track setup I'm in the process of putting together. Thanks

How often are you going to mess w/ ride height/corner balance? If not "a lot" then the factory adjustable plates are fine...

Good question--how often does one need to make adjustments once its lowered and corner balanced properly? I don't know. Need some advice here.

Also, which years have adjustable plates that are compatible with the SC suspension?

I believe Chuck does make bushings specifically for the Weltmeister / Sway-A-Way adjustable spring plates... Pelican Part # ERMP-2061501

PolyBronze are indeed available for Sway-a-way spring plates. Correct PN identified above.

You do know that your car already has factory adjustable spring plates. SAW plates have a larger range of adjustment, but still the factory adjustables have plenty of range for most people.

Unless you plan on frequent torsion bars swaps, I'd stick with the factory plates. Spend the $350 you save on the SAW plates on some other go-fast goody, or seat time, or beer.
