Where does this line connect to??
 

Ignore the lines pointing to the rubber hoses, I borrowed this photo from another post. I'm confused as to where the small braided line needs to go that is connected to the back of the throttle body. Mine is connected to the back of the throttle body as shown however, the other end is laying in the engine bay on the LH side. Where does it go and what is it's function?

I believe that that hose connects to the ambient air valve located above the oil filler neck...

Does it connect to the top of the AAV, or the bottom??

It connects to the TOP of the AAV.

Thanks, I'll take a look at it tomorrow. Any reason why there is no diagram (PET) or the like, that shows this line connected to the top of the AAV?? I can't seem to find one.

Loaned my doc's and bentley to a friend so I cannot look it up. However, I suspect it would be under Vac. lines, throttle body etc....
