This is a very interesting thread as I am doing the same thing right now. I have some of the cheap repro caps, one 356 cap and a couple aluminum ones (that I don't want to sell). I am robbing the filler neck from an old gas tank and already have the hole cut in the hood.
What is the best way to attatch the fin on the cap. Bonding vs welding? |

Heres a clean install on an outlaw 356 with a welded fin. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1108226501.jpg And here is Martin's cap. Looks bonded. Very, very clean http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1108226555.jpg |
