Auto to Manual conversion, bolt in, half hour project?
...for the antenna.
![]() Is this just a bolt in job? I got an auto antenna that has seen better days and doesnt work, can I just swap em out for the pelican manual one?

sure, but there's an inexpensive hirshmann electric out there that is easy enough to swap in. if the original was a hirshmann, the antenna lead unscrews and fits the new one, and the wiring is already there. 3 splices and you're in business

Matt,
I bought an electric Hirschman for my car, but I never used it. It's for sale. |
