Cool Just finished a Titanic project......

Ok, just to meet the letter if not the spirit of the rules, the camera was sitting on the top of my 911SC. The "Titanic" project that I just finished was a model of the ship by the same name for the high school musical (by the same name!). It is made of wood and the details (cabin doors, port holes, lifeboats, etc.) were drawn on a computer, printed and glued in place. The overall length is right at 6 1/2 feet! Now all I have to do is clean the sawdust out of the garage so that the mechanical fun can start again!

I was worried for a second that the Titanic part had something to do with a 911 project going terribly wrong

But WOW!
That looks very nice!

Fred,

Awesome work. I am a big fan of the Titanic. I have a mock up engineering drawing of the ship on my wall. I would have loved to have seen the ship in all its glory.

Looks unsinkable! You should build a lighted display case before you put the tools away though.

Leland,

Those look amazing. They look similiar to the paintings from the Ken Marschall. If you ever get a chance, take a look at the paintings in this book.

Great Job you have done there.

Jay Leno told me a few years ago that 2 Mercer Runabout racecars were lost on the Titanic when it went down. I believe he said that only 4 were made too.
