Alois Ruf driving an '01 Ruf in our Feb DE
I got my acceptance to the 2/26-27 Maverick Region (PCA) DE, and after my elation of being bumped up to Blue group from Green
, I'm perusing the list of entrants, and when I got to Yellow group, I see Alois Ruf listed in an '01 Ruf 911.It makes sense as this DE is sponsored by the new Ruf Auto Centre in Dallas, their first North American dealership. We all know he can tune, it will be interesting to see how he drives one of his babies.

....my guess is one of two:
1. Like he stole it 2. Like he can afford to push it off a cliff

I would tend to believe the man did not attain all of his perspective about how to enhance the 911's performance w/o some ability to personally evaluate it.
I'll add a 3rd choice: Like a seasoned and competent high performance driver. As you know, many of the world's best drivers are not race drivers. They are test drivers, a job that demands extraordinary consistency and skill. |

Good point Milt. In that Case:
4./ Like a seasoned and competent high performance driver who attained all of his perspective about how to enhance the 911's performance through his ability to personally evaluate the performance of his enhancements. And can afford to push it off a cliff.
