Porsche Fuchs 7R

Ciao to all from Italy.

I have one Porsche Fuchs, early style, with the famous "heart" near the valve hole, it is a 7x15 and, on the back of one spoke, there is the P/N 901,361,012,05 printed in "ink".

I've been told that this rim is quite rare, and I'm willing to sell it to finance other projects.

Can you please tell me what can be a good price for it?

Thank you
Marco

It depends upon the condition. If you will post photos of the front and the back, we can tell you what we think.

That would need a full restoration, which would cost $4-500 if done by an expert. I would say the wheel is worth $1,000, as it is now.

Shoot, 7R wheels were 1.2k cores several years ago now. I'd be willing to bet they are 1.5 to 2k core wheels by now.

Harvey Weidman could probably give you a good up to date value.

I've sold 3 refinished wheels in the last year or so for around $1500 each. If they have gone up since then, I don't know about it. I figure that it would cost at leat $500 to get that wheel to the US and for Harvey to refinish it. Maybe I'm low...

I've investigated the shipping price, and I think that 100$ are enough to move the rim from Italy to US, with a ground shipping.

Since I'm new in this forum, who can give me the references of Harvey Weidman?
Do you think he can be interested in purchasing this rim?

Thank you
Marco
