What gear oil?
Please let me start by saying I did search on this question only to become more confused...
I have an 87 911 with a LSD G50. What rear end lube would be best for my application? From what I've read, I 'm not sure Swepco is the answer for the G50 w/LSD.

For the G50 transaxle (which I think you have), Mobil 1 differential lube appears to be a popular choice. I don't think any friction modifier is required with Mobil 1 in an LSD diff.

I've got Red Line 75W90 in my G-50 and am very pleased with it.
