Best brake shop in Seattle?

Got a set of big reds acting up...who is the best shop in the Seattle area to square it away?

When your in Pittsburgh, nothing is close that has any "experts" to work on your car. I've sent so many thing out to the West Coast with my engine rebuild and brake upgrade, 200mi would be walking distance.

As a side note, I did a big red upgrade on my brothers 87 coupe. He had a problem with too much front brake, no mater how we set up the bias. He was using the 993 TT setup up front and a 964 turbo rear caliper and rotor. We then switched the bias to the front to shut them down a bit and get more balance. It definitely is a touchy setup when you working with the fronts because the absoulute last thing you want is a car that brakes like a go cart. This has much to do with the huge size of the front set up. You can try using different pads also to balance, but once again, this need to be done carefully on wide road with no traffic.

Try Max RPM Motorsports in Bremerton. Alex Raphael, the owner has put on a few tech sessions dealing with brakes and had reps from Brembo there. Good guy too. No relation (360) 373-6758

Dane, go to Fordahl Motorsports - Bellevue. If they can't set you up correctly, no one can.

this one of those jobs where basically the wrong part is on the car and some poor sap says ok i'll take it in, and after 20 hours screwing around with every idea he can pull out of his head it may get fixed, may be slightly improved but still dangerous, or it may be no better. only 20+/- hours will tell. i prefer to let others do stuff like that. my own car, yes, customers, no. there's just no money in it.
