Recommend an upholstery shop in Bay Area?

My early S sport seats need the webbing straps under the seat cushion bottom replaced. Any recommendations on where to take them? Thanks!

Palo Alto Upholstery is very good.
Just did my Targa top, I'll look around for the number.

Used to have Bascom Trim and Upholstery do some work. For awhile they were very good, now I've heard some so/so reviews. The owner, John, does always try to make things right.

Thanks Twin911. Bascom Trim is just a couple of miles away so I'll check them out.

BTW, how did your Targa top work go? Sounds like you were satisfied. Was it reasonable, pricey or both?

The top was $800 at Palo Alto. Good shop, good people, the guy doing the top has been doing them for over 15 years, Mike Johnson. BUT, the fun doesn't end there. Since the top and seals were both old I had the front and rear seals done. To do the top right you have to adjust the window height (take off the inside of doors). It's a slippery slope; the total was a lot more than $800. No more squeaks from within the top, but it seems to squeak more, rubber to rubber, than before. It might settle in with some wear, don't know.

Looking out my window I see some RAIN, it's nice knowing there are no leaks anymore!

Bascom has lost some of their best folks (Mike being one), the best thing about them is that John Bascom really will do everything he can to make the customer happy, or at least he did in the past.

Good Luck
