Hot Lap Receiver Mounting
 

I picked-up a used hot lap unit and I need some advice mounting the receiver. I can't use the roll bar mounting methid because the cab roof blocks the path. There are also no rear quarter windows to shoot through. Any inventive ways to mount the receiver?

I have seen them zip-tied to the windshield wiper stalk. Of course if it rains, you are SOL! :D

I have opening wind wings on my '67S and I have zip-tied it to the chrome window channel upright behind the wind wing, but yours are fixed if you have an '84. It might get a little messy but you can always try resting it on the window sill and duct taping to the wind wing. A little naptha to clean up adhesive residue afterwards may be all that's necessary....
