dual mc brakes, who, where, how

I am in the middle of doing a 72 into a track/street car. I have looked at some dual mc setups, fabcar, ap, tilton and some others. To be honest my favorite so far is the porsche factory 911 sc rs pedal set with two mc's on the brake pedal. Where can I get one of these or is it possible to modify/fabricate something that will work with the 72 pedal cluster? I also want to go to a hydraulic clutch. The go pedal isnt a concern, I have a special pedal on loan from a friend that I am making a copy of.

While we are at it, does anyone know if the factory or race teams that ran 935's with the tube shift "tower" had to lengthen or shorten the shift rod? I am talking about the setup that places the gear shift up higher and closer to the steering wheel.

there is a picture of the sc rs pedal cluster in the 911 performance handbook, I cant remember which page off the top of my head though.

i hope its not too tiny to see and then there is the gunnar racing solution

thanks all.

For a Dual MC setup, a buddy made this for my 914-6. He also makes them for a 911 Pedal Cluster.

Now of course the MC have to be sized for the braking system.
Send me a PM if you need more information.

Here are a few pics of a brake set-up in a car i am working on. Since Jim and i live in the same general area, it may have been done by the same guy, i dont know. These are Girling master cylinders.

Also, most of the cars i have seen with the shift tower set-up you pictured, have the upside down 935 type tranny.

very cool stuff, looks very similar to the sc rs pedal setup for the brake. How hard would it be to make it a pull type? As for the upside down trannies your very right, I have not seen a regular tranny with a shift tower like that but how hard would it be? The fabcar shifter uses the regular tranny but has the shift rod outside of the center tunnel. Just wondering if anyone has done this yet.

I have seen it done on cars at the track. The shift rod angles down to a modified u-joint coupler.
