cleaning a '71 oil tank
I'm currently rebuilding my '71 911T engine and in order to keep the rebuild engine clean, I need to clean out my oil tank aswell.
Does anybody has some advise how to clean the inside of the tank to remove all dirt & grime? What chemicals do I use? Thanks |

You could take it to a radiator shop. I did. It will come back spick and span and ready for high temp paint. If you want to DIY, I would suppose mineral spirits would work.
Hopefully, someone that has actually performed this will chime in.
