Anyone have a pic of 72 2.4 T engine they can Post?

I'm putting together my 72 T 2.4 MFI and of course I don't remember a few things...

Anyone have a digital pic they can post that shows which sheetmetal screws hold wires in place on the fan shroud. A photo of the left of the fan shroud looking down would also be helpful....

Thanks!

Ian

your request struck a frustrating memory... here's a pic of a wire bolted to the WRONG location on the fan shroud. it actually goes to the left and the wire also connects to the distributor (if I remember correctly).

This pic was taken right before Jay (its his car, not mine) started the car up after a rebuild.... we f(#$ed around with the wiring for over an hour befor we figured out the mistake... Hopefully somebody has a pic of what you are looking for.

Good luck

Do you still need pics? If you do let me know what you need and I will take a couple of shots for you.

If possible please take a few pics...

Just so I'm sure of a few different things. I'm really not quite sure if my car was correct when I took it apart so your pics will be quite helpful.

Thanks,
Ian

Ian, the top two which Bernie is pointing to hold down a hose. There's another further down to the left which will hold the smaller wires hooking up to the distributior. Further toward the rear of the engine (front of the car), there's another which will hold the wires that make it back to the oil sensors. My car had some nice spark plug wire holders that pushed into the fan shroud, but turned to dust upon removal. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow if you still need them, but I'm not sure everything is correct...but it seems to work.

Hey Bernie, not to worry, the metallic Pontiac Blue paint is still lookin' sweet!!

Oh yeah, I forgot, those two clips on top also hold the single wire that goes to the oil temp (?) sensor located on the right side front of the engine.
