Pin Stripping
I saw a mid-night blue Carrera with a light blue and yellow pin stripe. I must say it looked very nice.
Any thoughts on pin stripes? cheers

If one looks at all the sedans that are pin-striped, one soon comes to the conclusion that the dealers are trying to "add value", same as when they "gold-plate" the aluminum trim. It's not gold, it's not plated, it's merely a gold anodizing applied in liquid form, sort of like a paint.
Others will say it is "gilding the lily". The lily does not need gilding. Think of your Carrera as being a bar of soap which the designers carved - and then washed their hands with the soap to smooth the edges. Voila! - A Porsche. Your Carrera is gorgeous enough without needing "gilding" or "pin-striping". There is no value added with either.
