Help - inserting new squeegee in window trim

Any helpful hints out there for inserting new squeegee rubber into the outside side window trim? This is the metal trim at the top of the door next to the window. My old squeegee falls right out while the new ones I can barely slide in 3 inches.

Thanks
Dan

Diluted dish soap. Even then it's REALLY tough. But when you're done you'll say, "THAT was a load of bull***** for not very much gain."
Happy Porsche-ing!

Dish soap like others have said. You have to push and pull it firmly, but not so hard as to tear it.

Good luck, David

I just put one side up against the extruded aluminum channel and poked the other side in with a screw driver.

Seemed to work for me.
