WEVO require electronics design services
We are currently working on a 915 cooling pump system, this is no secret, but not widely publicized either.
Part of our requirement is a 12 volt speed controller that can manage the switching and running speed of the electric pump. We would like to engage the services of someone who can select an appropriate proprietary unit, or design and proto a suitable custom unit. Might lead to small volume production ~ less than 50 units / year. Many thanks Regards Hayden |

Yet another niche filled by WEVO.

Too big to fail

I'm curious as to why you want to manage the speed of the pump. Why not a simple thermo switch? What would be the advantage of having a variable-speed pump? Or am I so far out in right field that I'm just not getting it?

Thom,
I appreciate your question, but at this stage it's too early to list, or justify all the features we are considering in the system. I am certain some will be changed. When we finalize the spec of the system we will have a good reason for each and all the specific features. However, as with all our products, I am sure there will be those who contest the cost, the value and the merit of the features. I didnt want this thread to become a Q&A about the proposed system, it was more a call for expertise we need to design the system to meet our objectives. Regards Hayden |

I don't want to heap unearned praise on an unknown product....
....but if Hayden builds it.....at least so far all his products are the best in their field.
