Ouch check out those rear fender wells.

It's not really a conversion if you don't, in fact, extend the wheelbase. Looks like they did the body work, but never extended the wheels.

going from SWB to LWB is a big deal, I did it on my race car, you need to either cut out the torsion tube or at least cut off the banana arm mounts and put on the later style, plus the shock tower is all wrong to you either cut it out and replace it or do what I did leave it out and mount to the cage.

I would guess someone figured it was just a bolt up solution and cut the wheel wells trying before they figured out how hard it was.

Looks like they basically put a LWB rear quarter section and left the front section and wheelbase as SWB. Things like this make me feel a little better about my skills, or lack thereof.

Wow, looks like a Michael Jackson of cars!

I doubt it's a real 1968 911S too, as those were only European cars. The USA 1968 car was called a 911L, and had 'S' trim, but a standard 911 engine.

I don't know how you came up with that one Wayne, but it is perfect. I wonder if there are any porn magazines in the back...http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...ool_shades.gif
