Deck lid question

Does anyone know if a rear deck lid from a 80's Carrera will fit on a 1972 911?

Thanks
Christian

Yes, but it will not have the cut outs for the license plate lights. Also no holes for the PORSCHE letters. Other than that, it is a direct exchange.

I don't know if it's applicable to the '72 lights, but stylinconcepts.com has license plate bolts with little LEDs in them. If you can figure out how to wire the buggers for 12VDC, you're good to go.
