Partwerks / Blondde Complaint Info

For all those Pelicans who have been wronged by Partwerks, here is your call to action.

I have been in contact with Daniel Ligocki, a representative from the Illinois State Attorney General's Office. I filed a formal complaint against Partwerks a couple of months ago, concerning their failure to deliver a 1997 993 DME as Purchased and Invoiced as part of a larger deal. Mr. Ligocki stated that approximately one complaint per year trickles into his office regarding Partwerks. There were none for '04 except for my own. Is this possible? Jay has not responded to mine yet due to "family issues." He has a week to respond.

If you want action, here is your opportunity. I have alerted Mr. Ligocki as to Partwerks's recent alleged change of name on Ebay. I told him about the shipping woes, the fake Behr parts and fraudulent practices as you have described here on the forum. I sent him links to the forum so he could read them himself. The only problem is: these alleged practices have no bearing unless you Pelicans fill out a consumer complaint form.

Here it is. Pleae take a few minutes for humanity if you have been wronged by Partwerks. The hammer will likely come down if you respond. My solitary complaint is just that--solitary.

http://www.ag.state.il.us/consumers/conscomp.pdf

Address it to:
Mr. Daniel Ligocki
Office of Att'y General of Illinois
Consumer Protection Division
100 W. Randolph St.
Chicago, IL 60601

Or call 312 814 3866 and talk to him yourself. But please fill out the form first.

This goes for everyone; please don't feel alone in this matter. Your complaints have greater meaning if the Attorney General sees a "pattern." We will all benefit!!

Anyone dealt with Part Werks?

eBay identity question Partwerks ---> Blondde?

Maybe it's time to ban Loren from the Board. His informative posts have declined to zero, and his attacks on others have increased. I don't know what psychological inadeqaucy he suffers from, but I do think that we should not have to suffer from him.

Different topic, but I couldn't agree more. The guy is poisoning the water here.

FWIW, it's a sure sign of his depth of character to delete and edit his posts after the stink he starts.

That guy has serious personality issues. Do a search of his recent posts - the first page is full of unsolicited vitriolic attacks...

You're right Adam. I used to get pissed at Loren, then I began to find him amusing and I looked forward to his inevitable diatribes. Really entertaining stuff! But now he's gone off the deep end and is just lashing out at everyone. It's sad and ugly, and I've asked the moderators to ban him. I really think it's time.

I just read through his posts at someone's suggestion. Attacks like I have seen are not why I come to this board. Disagreements are certainly welcome, and usually informative in the end. Personal attacks are unwarranted and certainly unneeded.

I don't think we should ban someone for their opinions, even if they are unpopular and we don't agree with them. It's a slippery slope.

It's not his opinions, it's his personal attacks on many people over a long period of time.

It's not his opinions, it's (apparently unprovoked) personal attacks especially lately. Here's a thread with some quotes from him recently so he can't delete the rest:

lorenfb's recent posts in this forum - for the record

There is a new topic started on Loren, so let's get back onto this -- more important -- topic. Loren is annoying, but blondde is a lot worse. The allegations involve fraud and "theft" - I urge everyone to do something effective. Don't just ventilate on the bbs - that only warns people here - already some poor guy in Mexico got screwed because he's on the 911S bbs not this one. Then there are the vast majority of owners who are not on a bbs at all.

So, please do every Porsche owner a favor and help out your self as well and send in a complaint as Wavey posted at the top here - he did the hard work for you. Hopefully we can eliminate this drain on our community who husrts both owners and legitimate parts sellers, shops and others.
