PolyUreathane Valance repair
Question for all you body guys...can a polyureathane valance be repaired? I think thats the right term..you know, those flexy, sexy ruf valances.

If it's like any other Poly bumper or spoiler the answer is yes...to a degree. When a poly part is damged the potential for it to be stretched is great. Sometimes to the point where it is difficult and/or not worth repairing. I have successfully used two part flexible repair epoxys to repair bumpers. Repair is like bondo but it's flexible and tougher to work with....spreading and sanding. A flex agent needs to be added to primer and paint as well.

I agree with Rick. PU parts can be repaired using special repair systems. Of course it depends on how serious the damage is and if it is worth spending the time and efforts (Porsche parts might be worth some extra efforts considering the cost for a replacement part).
