I don't post a lot on this website, other than parts for sale from my Project. But I read it on a regular basis.
I must commend you all for the quality of the knowledge that has been shared on the Forums.

I am now in the beginning stages of a project (My second) , a project that this time I have saved a ton of money on. Simply by doing a lot of the grunt work myself.
You guys have been very accurate on the parts, the fixes, what prices should be paid.

The people that are doing these works of art themselves inspired me big time. I have always wanted a 73 RSR, however, I have always known that an owning an original, well just say I have a better chance at winning Powerball.

Having done this before, Dropping loads of $$$'s to my mechanic, on a 93 RSR look. I have started to build the 73RSR of my dreams.
I am going to take my time and tackle as much of it as possible.
I plan on putting the 3.8LTR motor I have in the car with a LSD trans, and a few custom body tricks.

I can't wait to be able to post something that would benefit someone else. Doug Wierenga sent me a CD of his project, that is full of helpful "how to do's" Steve Weiner always takes my calls. And you all keep posting the quality on a regular basis.

I have been on this site since it was first formed, it has only gotten better with time. The knowledge that is passed around here is just plain. Legendary. Wayne your site and Pelican "Rocks".

Okay, that is as sappy as I get. Just wanted to show some appreciation.

Keep us updated with regular pics. Show the tear down, repairs, stripping, body fittings, paint work, custom parts, drive train :D, and everything else along the way. It will help you keep track of the progress and the board will help with motivation when you get stuck or frustrated. The road is long and definatley not straight and easy. You will reach your destination. I did and am very glad I took the journey!
