A Perfect Sunday Afternoon

While you guys in CA get some good all around weather, here in Missouri we get some decent winter days. This afternoon got up to around 70. Friend came by in his 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV to talk cars. And of course, we had to take pictures. After the pictures we hit the winding backroads.

I even got the Bugeye out:

Sweet cars. It was chilly (50s) and rainy here in Atl. I did, however, get to see the peachstate auto-x. Watch those guys have fun gives me inspiration to finish my project!!!

It's not always good weather here in SoCal. Today it is raining like hell and is in the low 50's. A LOT of snow falling in the local mountains...where my 944 came from!

By the way, nice Bugeyed Sprite. A friend in college built one with a Chevy 302 in it..in the days when you could still get a factory 302 relatively cheaply. Talk about strong runner. Floor it and it wanted to spin donuts continuously until you let up on it. Love that Alfa too. Nice cars one and all.

Beautiful pictures, its nice to see someone else brag once in awhile about great weather. As Dan said, it is coming down hard here in So Cal. Don't worry I'll have some good pictures this next weekend if the CA sun comes back.
