good Porshce mechanic Long Island New York...>??
I have heard of Autosport designs...very pricey and belittle my measly sc
also have dealt with Lymor automotive...competent but not so customer service oriented... any pointing would be appreciated...

I use Rudtner's in Freeport. Bill is a standup guy, and does good work. Prices are reasonable. His shop is also approved for pre-event inspections in case that makes a difference to you. It is a little far from Melville, but LIRR is almost walking distance if you don't have a ride home after you drop the car off.

Thanks for the referral to Bill. I brought my car to him today. He is a stand up guy and now i highly reccommend him as well. He is honest and up front. I have dealt with Autosport and Lynmor and he is head over heels better than either...A real Porsche guy with the correct mentality.

Is Rudtner's Racing my best bet for a mechanic. I'm in Staten Island, My 65 2.2t is running good, I want someone to tune the Carbs, so she runs great.

I am sure there are other closer to you, However,
I just had a full tune and adjustment done by him and was more than pleased.

Tony, I am in Staten Island also and have been to this place. Bill is to notch. There is also a good guy in Brooklyn(off Flatbush-by the bridge) Sarkos is his name-he is real good with carbs. Much closer. Give me an email.

I also tried to deal with Lynmore just not friendly enough for the amount of money you can spend when getting your car serviced.I now do the work myself its a lot easier.
