DIY shift bushings-pics
For all the hard core DIY guys:
New shift coupler zero play bushings in Delrin and new shift rod hanger bushing in UHMW. Made from scraps from work on my junk lathe. Took about 1.5 hrs not that it matters.

Leave to an A & P to churn out beautiful products like that. Well done, Tim!

Indeed, the "curly yellow turd" is what I ripped out of the original hangar bracket. I am doing an interior replacement that just will not end!
I decided on Friday that the bushings should get replaced this weekend and I am a bit impatient when it comes to ordering and waiting on parts (not to mention that I hate paying for something I think I can make as good as "store bought"). (must be an ego thing, please no one dare me to make a crankshaft)
