Porsche Crest Pics*Leather sports w/cloth,suede insrts

After searching this site I've only found a few pics of the leather sport seats with cloth/suede inserts. Noah's car is one of them I really like, but I need the hole for the sub-belt.
I've been trying to decide to install new Recaro Speed/PolePositions or have the inserts done in cloth/suede to my '81 sport seats. I don't like the way the sub-belt comes across the front of the seat.
Has anyone got some pics, ideas or cost of doing something like this. Thanks for any help!

There's a company called Webersport that advertizes in Excellence.
They can do whatever you would like to your seats, including the substrap hole. Email them at Webersport@aol.com for info and a catalog.
As soon as I get some spare change, I'm going to have my seats done by them!

Factory sport seats cannot be used w/5 pt belts unless yours are the Recaro sport seats. The shoulder belts cannot be vertical as they cross around the seat or they will spread apart on impact and allow your body to pitch forward.

I've come across rpiper's comments before and I would say it depends upon the specific set up you have and if the cross-bar ( of the rear cage section...or of the Brey Krause bar you're using) has the welded wire-guides that help locate the straps.

As an alternate....you can criss-cross the shoulder belts immediately behind the front seat......

Bobby & Wil,

I've got the wire supports on my Brey-Krause Harness bar, havn't had any problem so far and was going to go with an H strap when I start doing DE's.
I'm going to check with Auto's International here in SoCal and see what they say.
