I found an amp in my floor!
 

pulled up the floorboard last night trying to track down the antenna wire and I found an amplifier. There were three screws poking through the passenger floorboard. I unbolted it and lo and behold a blaupunkt CR-3001. Ready to rock with 15 watts for each of four channels. Weighs in at about 3#. This should shave some serious time off my 1/4 mile.

Seriously, this is 60 watts of total power. 15Wx4. Pure class AB power. They just don't make it like this anymore.

I'll even throw in the screws that held it to the underside of the floorboard.

Let me know what kind of vacuum tubes are in it. I might be interested. :)

Good to know. Back on the market for 200 bones. There has to be some desperate concourse type out there who really wants to impress those judges with stock Blaupunkt gear.

I tired to sell the original radio and the amp for $55 last month and no one was interested. When you find that niche market let me know :-)

Well, I think this thread is creating buzz so I'm back to three large.

I'll take it and the cassette deck radio if available. All my Foghat cassettes (I had them converted from 8 track) have been sitting just waiting for a vintage deck to play them again.
