Dilavar head studs
Just interested in what the length of a Dilavar head stud in my 78SC would have been. Trying to torture myself by determining whether the stud broke off flush with the case or may be more easily removed when I get around to pulling the heads. Also is the case end threaded to the same depth as the head end threads?

If you want, you can "carefully" bend back the air divertor guide sheet metal thingy and see for sure. Just be as gentle as possible and bend it back when done to prevent hot spots.
Otherwise I can measure an old dilavar stud when i get home. |

I believe the spec for "exposed length" ( when screwing them down into the case) was 135 mm...as I recall...
