valance guards, prevent scraping?
 

just got a new valance to install and since it is all painted perfectly, does anyone know these metal things to attach to the bottom so that if you scrape the front end it just hits these guards instead of the valance itself? does pelican sell them? info would be great, thanks...

Pelican sells them (or sold them, I didn't specifically check).

They are steel "skid plates", about 3 in x 1.5 in size, with hardware (bolts and screws) to mount hem onto the front tow hooks, costing, if I remember correctly some 50 bucks...

I got some, and they are of no use to me, because the ROW (the 1988 Carrera anyway) have only ONE tow hook.

I guess there's no real point sending them to you (I have no use for them...), unless you can arrange free freight for me...
