Did Porsche ever make a slant nose coupe?

Just wondering . . . and dreaming.

Slant Nose coupe? Is that what you meant to type? Yes, and cabs and targas too. Slant noses were special order items, and with enough money you could have pretty much anything you wanted.

Here's a link to the '94 turbo S. I prefer this look. I like this style of headlight better.

Hi,

Maybe 89speedy meant to ask if the slant nose was stock? As opposed to an aftermarket/custom job..................just a thought.

Regards,

That sounds like a possibility. Oh, after looking closer at the top one I see it's actually a tuner car, DP. But Yes, Porsche made slant nose cars. They were usually called "turbo S"

The slant nose option became available in the U.S. in 1987, (if I remember right), when the special wishes dept. at Weissach began to be marketed here. Pretty sure that this stuff was available before this time in Europe/Asia/Arab countries, etc...

Like Masraum said, "all it takes is money".....

The 80s were decadent with "special wish" orders from the factory. So, yes, you COULD order your n/a Carrera with a slant nose and turbo look. But why....???

So some fat wallet weenie could BS the babes by saying it was $100K car. Most folks would never know the difference.

It would be interesting to know how many were made. It could be the rarest of rare Porsches. Still not worth anything, but rare none the less.

If it was a "special wish" from the factory, it probably WAS $100k.

I never saw a N/A flatnose. Anyone?

BTW, I've seen it referred to as the 930 SE as well. Not sure if that's an official designation though.

Good to see you Rose.

I think there was actually a red on for sale on the boards about six months ago (???). I can't guarantee it was factory...but there was a lot of discussion about it. For some reason I think it was. Pretty sharp, actually...I remember it being very clean.

I have a 1988 PCNA price list. The slant nose option #505 was $29,559 and was only on the 911 Turbo.

Add that to a Turbo Cabriolet ($85,060) and you are already at $114,619.

Whooee!

Here is a slantnose "delete"930S This Euro car was sold locally(2-3 months ago) and stolen during the first week of ownership - totally demolished - apparently 1 of 30 worldwide.
