will copper crush washers react with the metal of the transmission?
Local supplier had copper crusch washers to fit the G50 plugs. What is the tranmission housing made of and will the metals react adversely?

Hi:
The housing is aluminum and the copper washers are totally inert. No worries, sir.

The two different metals will generate a tiny emf that will slightly increase corrosion over time. You could measure this in a lab, but the effect is nil for a car. It might be a problem if you were building a space probe of something that needs to wake up centuries hence...
