Front Valence

I've been shown a front valence from a 86 Carerra. Question is will this fit my 74 coupe? and will the fogs fit the openings on the 86 valence? I kinda like the fogs inset into the valence, and want to make sure it fits. Thanks for all the help guys.

the valence should fit, however i think the fogs are different, at the very least the mounting system is. if you look at the pelican catalog, or another they are listed seperatly from the SC to carrera application.

Porsche Crest

Hi guys, don't mean to hijack this post, but I have the same issue.
I have a 1977 with no valance, and am seeing many options. What options are there for these.
I've seen a few aftermarket air dams, but don't know who lists them.
Also, some stock styles have the lower lip and some don't...
What to do???

Lots of air!
I bought the car that way, it looks like it was ripped off in an accident, but the bumper is fine?!?!?

The carrera vallence is a very common upgrade. Do a search.

The stock vallence either had a rubber lip (when equipped with a tail) or was plain. The rubber lip can be added on and should be if you run a tail.

The conversion of a mid year or SC to Carrera vallence is straight forward. Only thing is that you will need new fogs (the old ones don't fit) and another washer bottle.

Personally I prefer the earlier valance with no fogs at all.

Search didn't turn up much. Might be my search arguments.

Anyway, it's not straight forward. The side mounting brackets do not match up properly. I'm thinking I'm going to have to move the bracket of fasten an extension.

Anyone with advice?

Michael
