When I was removing my smog pump today on my 79' SC, I noticed that on the drivers side of my airbox I am missing 3 screws. I figured that this might be causing some of my stumble from 2200RPM to about 2900RPM. I assume once over 3000RPM the suction was great enough to seal it. I inspected the airbox pretty thoroughly and I cannot find any signs of cracks. I've got to get some screws to put back in there to seal it. I don't want to strip out the plastic so I was wondering if anyone knew the exact size of the screws? I don't want to have to try to experiment by just tightening random screw sizes with my fingers just because I don't want to run the risk or stripping. I'd appreciate the shared knowledge. Thanks.

I would put duct tape over the holes to see if that fixes your stumble. If it does, then RTV the holes for a long term fix.
I would be supprized that the holes go strait thru into the air box.

I'm sorry I was not descriptive enough. The 3 screws are where the two pieces of the airbox meets together. It doesn't seem seperated, but I'm sure the screws need to be there to hold it together.
