Mounting in-line oiler on compressor...?

I am in the process of mounting an air filter/regulator/oiler combo unit on my compressor. I fabbed up a bracket and everything seems fine.

I was wondering about the vibrations from the compressor messing with the oilers abilities?

The vibrations are not huge and I mounted using rubber isolator washers...anybody have any experience with this?

I can't imagine the vibrations will be a problem, especially if you keep the oiler relatively full.

That is what I figured. I guess I don't fully understand how the oiler works. Does it just work on vacuum from the flow of air?

That's a good question, and I don't know the answer. I do know that I have an in-line oiler, and it produces a fine mist of oil in the airflow.

I'm sure you know this, but if you plan on doing any paint spraying, you'll have to bypass the oiler and use air hoses that aren't contaminated with oil.

Yeah, I have two completely seperate hoses and adaptors for oil/tool vs no oil use.
