Question fuel filter question:

what are the chances of a fuel filter clog?

after i put the motor into the car, it would not start--no fuel to injectors. so after some investigation i realized that the fuel filter was blocking the flow. after i opened it on both sides and drained it, the car started.

now the car will not start, feels like the same thing (i had no time to investigate), so what are the chances of a clogged filer? does this happen, or is this very unlikely?

thanks

Sounds like something in the gas line. Check the filter again. If crap is comin out of it, and then the car starts again... it might be something before the filter....
