You know, I wondered why make such a machine; then I drove one at Barber motorsports. Holy crap that thing is truly amazing; but that revamp makes it look kinda like a kia with a body kit.

It looks like they had plenty of 996 and Boxster headlights available and had to use them somewhere.

When are the yuppies gonna abandon this thing? I'd like the price to drop into the low teens so I can buy one ....

as far as looks go - the FX45 is where its at.
The VW/Porsche - ehhhh, not quite.

Solution: You guessed it, an FX45 with the Cayenne turbo package

Looks cross eyed. If it keeps doing that, it's eyes will be get like that permanently. Now to make the grill look like teeth and it's all set.

I've always thought the thing looked like a Hyundai Santa Fe!

I've said it before.....

Park this thing next to a Hyundai Sonata and the front / fender area resemblance is remarkable....

If it has to look like something else, why not the leading edge Nissan Murano? That's what a "Porsche" SUV should look like ! A little more "sport" and a lot less "box".

Cayennes make me gag. The new snout is no improvement to my eyes.

How did VW do such a nice job with the same sheet metal?
I think the Toureg looks great. Makes the Cayenne seem even worse to me.

DITTO. Now just swap the mechanicals, wait for randywebb's price drop and I can see one on my driveway...
