				Radar Detector Riding Fog Light?

I noticed my passenger side fog light was aimed way low. There is a box strapped to the top of it, is this an after market item, like a radar detector? Removing it would help readjust the fog light, I plan on just cutting the wire to the unit. Also, has anyone had any luck readjusting the fog light with the horns in the way, or should I just remove the whole assembly and loosen the bolt off of the car? The bolt is very difficult to get leverage on with the horns in the way. Had a pic, but it wouldn't upload?!?!

Could be a laser diffuser. I actually have one that I've attached in the same spot. Don't cut wires - just trace them to the source and unplug, or cut them there. You can always resplice.
