1988 911-Clutch pedal intermittently will lower itself a couple of inches.
I checked under the floor board and lubricated the spring. I cannot get the pedal to stick in neutral. When driving, I feel the pedal not returning to its high point. Clutch works fine it is just the pedal I have to pull up. I bought a Master and slave but am not convinced I need to replace them. Anyone have a comment. Thanks in advance. Binding in the bushings? You might need to replace them. Good move.

Thanks,
I see there is a g50/g64 Transmission Clutch Release Shaft Bushing Fix-It-Kit available. I wonder if some lubricant can be shot up inside to see if that’s the problem.
