First 911 :)

Well I finally settled on the yellow carrera 3. Thanks for all of the help over the last couple of months. Feeling pretty damn happy with the purchase & will just have to wait for a couple of weeks to fly down to melbourne pick it up.

Gavin, good to see you got your car. Lisa and I are still having trouble identifying it! Did you have any luck with the name of the owner who had it when we did the work on it? If you could find it we would be pleased to help with that part of its history. If getting the owners name is too hard try to get the previous rego number, that might be enough to jolt our memories.
Regards Mike
P.S. hope to hear from you soon

Gavin I think I just remembered the name of the owner we did that work for their sir name was McFalaine, I think, they were both in the medical field. If that was them they were lovely people who went to live in Europe for a while and left the car in the care of Tanya's brother while they were away. This was about 8-10 years ago.

hi mike. Thanks for the good wishes and help. Wow - I can't remember much from 8 - 10 yrs ago, you have an impressive memory. I'll ask the current owner if he bought it from the mcfalaine's or if he has the previous rego details. It would be great to know what's been done. If I can't find out I'll wait until I come down & might be able to drop in to say hi. I'm sure the details are in the receipt file so once I'm down I'll be able to give you a job or receipt number.
Noah - I think there's too many spaces & it's not sprawled enough gooodonyamaaaate. Once spoken through the nose that should be just about perfect. and thanks

Gavin,

Congratulations on the purchase, thats a great looking car! Its a sensationsl colour.

I'm sure you will have many, many hours of enjoyment driving it, looking at it and working on it. I look forward to hearing your first drive impressions soon.

I don't know how you can wait weeks to pick it up though.

Yeah, waiting until next week will be tough but I can't get down there until weekend after next. Oh well, it will just make that first drive all the sweeter. The downside of course is that I have to drool over the pics for the next week and a half.
