Dan Stern Lighting has a lot of fans around here. I like Cibie's Oscar Racing.

I started a thread on this recently and there is a "snag". The current Cibies are post-mount, and the originals are not ( they have a wide foot and adjust as part of the housing). some like the Cibies and even KC Hilites ( models 50 or 60) come close, but will require major surgery to the units to mimic the originals.

That's why originals in good shape go for big $.

If you run fogs instead of driving lights, then the "aiming" might not be that big an issue and you can retain the post mount...as an alternative.
Hella Rallye 4000 compact are a good choice too.

I have made copies of the correct hood mounted versions, which were original to Citroens. The housings have the flat base for direct hood mounting. the trouble is the originals have internal aiming adjusters, which are tedious to reproduce. I have information from an importer that may have solved this dilemma and will include these in an upcoming website.

Damon:

This is good news...

PS- I also have a long outstanding request to you via PM to consider doing clamshell brake cooling ducts? Any chance you may be interested in doing these.... ? ( directs air to the outside brake surface..and not through the eye of the rotor).

Wil, I have made the a-arm scoops, you need to send me some prototype product and/or drawings of the part.

Damon,

As long as we are on the subject of making parts, any progress on the adapters to use later model fenders on a backdated car?

Know that you had the time to make them for one or two cars but got backlogged with other work.

Thx,

JoeA

like a dog. Joe , working on a website inc. the fender extensions, shrouds, lights and few other new 911 parts after one lap of america. Customer has given me a Radical and the entry fee to run for 05, and requested I build a removable roof, this is prototype #2, hinged upfront and removable for track. 3400 miles in one week? an adventure...
