911 SC Body question
 
My car is in the paint shop as we speak. I'd like to make some changes to streamline a bit. It appears that the side rubber strips just below the doors and above the rocker panel are simply 'decorative' and I'd like to leave them off. Do they serve any other purpose?

they hide the allen screws that hold the lower rocker cover on. they "might" clean up the air flow from the groves and hardware supporting therockers. You could save yourself some weight and remove it all
