Seat question

I am restoring my first Porsche, a '73 911, and am looking to upgrade the seats to get more lateral support without spending too much money. I need to know if seats out of a '79 will fit, because I may have found a pair in my price range.

Thanks

I put a set of seats from a '77 in my '73. You will need an adapter plate to attach the seats. I am not sure if Wayne can get them but there are other suppliers. You can make your own per this thread:

RSL-Classic seats

And a search using the terms "seat adapter plates" turns up 29 hits. These discuss various alternatives and how to get your lap belt mounted.

Good luck.
