Muffler Strap Bolt

The weather is finally cooperating in the Philly burbs, and I get a chance to drive. When I get back I notice a muffler strap hainging down. I take a look and the bolt has rusted through.

I called our host, and they don't have a catalog listing for the bolt. They told me that the bolt on the OEM muffler is M10 X 50.

Here are some pix. I need help identifying the bolt type and size and advice on where to buy a few.

Thanks,
Alan

That bolt is nothing special. Just go down to your local hardware store that carries metric bolts and match one up.

That clamp looks a bit different from the early ones I am used to seeing! And, the bolt it needs may be a bit longer than 50 mm ...

Looks like a P.O. used a longer one to make installation a bit easier ... that one is probably too long, but a 60 mm might work just fine!

Be sure to use plenty of anti-sieze compound on the full length of threads!

That clamp is different. Looks generic. It might even have SAE threads.
