How to clean 3.6 cyl graphite gasket?
M 964 3.6 cylinder head has the original graphite gasket that is compressed into and filled the cylinder groove.
Anyone has any idea how to remove this so I can use the newer steel cylinder head? See picture. The dark band is the graphite gasket. I can scrape it /w the tip of a screw driver but is afraid it will scratch the cylinder.  thanks, anthony |
