ok don't laugh at me...
1 I just got my spark plugs in the mail from pelican and i would like to know if a 0.60 mm is the correct distance for a 73 t.
2. For the oil sump gaskets do i need to have a special sealant for the gaskets? or can they just be put into place? thanks for the help.

The spark plug gap is .028" which I believe converts to approx. .071mm
No sealant on the gaskets.

thanks for the sealant question, but can I use the 0.60mm instead of 0.71mm?

Well as the recommended gap is .071 I would probably use that unless you have a specific reason to use a smaller gap.

I don't know how to resize the gap to 0.71 for a side gap. I only know how to resize vertical gaps. Is there a recomended way that I should use to resize the gap? the spark plug is Bosh platin 10 - W3DP0.
thanks

Better double check your decimal placement!

I asked the same question. They are great Thanks John.

Just remember the number: 25.4 eg: .028" x 25.4 = .7112 mm
(1" = 25.4 mm)

According to the board, we should use copper or iridium not platinum.

Although those are far too cold a plug for even a street-driven 2.0-2.4 911S ... they are not the garden-variety Bosch Platinums everyone badmouths about here!
Also, that style of plug ... or any of the 'WxDP0' plugs CANNOT be regapped in the traditional way!!! To attempt to do so is risking breaking the center insulator of a very expensive spark plug!

W3DPO is a great plug, but at $16 a piece, kinda pricey. I used just a copper core champion then a copper core NGK, both worked well in my '71. I can't remember plug numbers though I know I went a step colder than standard.
