on the 17th...
im installing right now... but i cant get that DAM t fitting in the oil light hole! theres a hardline in the way... trying to figure out how remove it... or get around it.. pain in my ass... any tips? |
I'm trying to figure out which hard line is in the way. Only one I can think of goes to the AAR and AAV, a couple of hose clamps and it's off, but I doubt you could get it from the back of the car. Sounds like you didn't pull the engine. On mine I dropped the engine just to make it easy, and also so I could freshen up a few things and generally make sure everything was good to go.

Yep, that hard line right behind the fitting is what i was talking about. is that the one that's giving you trouble?
Hard to get the hose clamp under the throttle body loose and then re-tightened without doing at least a partial drop. Hopefully you can work around it. |
Sam,
May I suggest you weld the adj. boost setting to where it should be and leave it? If I'm not mistaken, you're gradually increasing the boost because you want more and more torque - IOW, you're a junkie. Do that and your piston rings will last a lot longer.:) I'd like to see the smile on your face. Sherwood |
