Hey all,
I just got my new VDO tach and clock replacement boost gauge. Just wanted to post a pic and probably make everyone very happy I went with VDO rather than Autometer. I think it fits the car much better. I still need to remote mount the switch for it somewhere else, but the current spot will work for now. Here's a pic. Please excuse the body shop dust on the wheel. (lol) ![]() .................................................. C ![]()

Looks nice, although wish the word "Xtreme" wasn't on the face. It would make it look so much better. Just my opinion.

Chris- Where'd you get the boost gauge? Hard to hook up?
Thanks, Skip

I found the boost gauge on the Pelican used parts forum. I waited quite a while to find one at this price. I paid only 100.00 for it. If you dont mind paying extra and dont care if it has the VDO name. North Hollywood Speedometer has them. Here is a link you can get their number and other info from. Tell them you are looking for the clock replacement boost gauge. I think they are around 250.00 from them.
http://www.nhspeedometer.com/ As for the install. Very easy, it slips right in just like the factory clock does. The gauge is purely mechanical so you just have to grab the hose to your brake booster and install a T fitting into that. Do that along with hooking up a ground and pushing in the bulb that is already in that location for the clock and youre all set! Hope this helps.......................................C

Why not just a stock normally aspirated tach?
