Putting 73 mirrors on a 77 door?

Will the holes from abig cluncky power 77 door mirror be covered by a smaller earlier mirror? I don't need anymore welding things to do so this will officially kill this idea it that is the case.

Thanks,

David

Thanks. Glad I thought of it before I bought. Don't need anymore projects at this time.

David, you'd be better off with the slightly larger 74-75 style mirrors than choosing the tiny 72-73 style. Visibility is much better and they don't look too cluncky. Unfortunately, I believe they use the same base as the 72-73 style, so your hole problem still exists.
